POLAR is the audio interface that is specifically intended to enhance your guitar DI signal in a way that recreates the desired feel and responsiveness of playing through a real valve guitar amplifier. POLAR has FET instrument inputs that provide ultra-low noise and high headroom, resulting in the best sonic foundation for your guitar tone.

“Enhance” brings back the response, touch, and sensation of using a real amplifier. A special circuit is created that replicates the input stage of a genuine valve amplifier, complete with all of its non-linear behaviors and features, when the Enhance switch is engaged on the instrument input. You can record guitar levels without worrying about digital clipping when “Enhance” is turned on. By enabling you to run POLAR’s preamps like a true valve amp, you can easily change the level and ensure that dynamic guitar impulses are handled smoothly, preventing harsh tones and damaged takes.

POLAR’s microphone preamps, which are modeled after well-known vintage studio preamps, produce warm, rich tones and genuine character that improve the overall depth and quality of your sound. Activating “Enhance” brings out the natural clarity and air from vocal performances, acoustic instruments, and more by subtly raising the top end of your signal.
