Tremendous pressure is applied to bongo heads and Pearl’s exclusive Self-Aligning Washer System (S.A.W.S.) isolates the tension hooks from the inner walls of the lugs making Elite bongos easier to tune. Both wood and fiberglass shells are completed with premium lacquer finishes that look as good as they sound, with matching bongos sold separately.
