At first appearance, the IXO22 Recording Pack appears to be a basic USB 2.0 audio interface package with two inputs, two outputs, a microphone, and a pop filter. A deeper look, however, reveals that Steinberg designed the IXO22 Recording Pack with thoughtful details aimed exclusively for content makers, broadcasters, and recordists who expect more from their mobile rigs. These appointments include an exceptionally simple Loopback function that makes livestreaming extremely convenient, latency-free input monitoring via a direct monitor switch, and iPad/iPhone support in addition to Mac and PC. The IXO22 Recording Pack is a good representation of Steinberg’s normal design and sound quality: the interface has two combo mic/line inputs with studio-grade microphone preamps, a hi-Z input for electric guitars and basses, and two line outputs with 106dB dynamic range. The inclusion of Cubase AI, Cubasis LE, Steinberg Plus, and WaveLab LE allows you to begin recording and creating as soon as you unpack your IXO22 Recording Pack. Finally, this interface kit provides professional sound wherever you go thanks to its compatibility for up to 24-bit/192kHz audio resolution.
